      According to the federal guidelines of the NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND ACT, parental involvement is a must. Research has proven that parental involvement is essential to the education of each and every child. It does not matter  if the child comes from a single parent home or a two-parent home, parental involvement will help improve academics. The teachers at Mae Eanes Middle School have made and documented several attempts  to contact you about your child's progress.I need to meet with you  so that I can discuss your child's progress and what can be done to inprove your child's academics. In order to be in compliance  with NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND guidelines, a conference will be held with every child enrolled in school. Please call the secretary at Mae Eanes, at 221-2189 to schedule a conference. Failure to comply  with this request will result in me not allowing your child to attend  school until this conference is held.
