UNIFORM INFORMATION

Mae Eanes 2012 - 2013  Uniform Dress Code Policy

**********Pre-Registration Dates**********

6th grade pre-registration is July 11, 2012 from 8:00AM-1:00PM

7th grade pre-registration is July 12, 2012 from 8:00AM-1:00PM

8th grade pre-registration is July 13, 2012 from 8:00AM-1:00PM

*****2 Proofs of residence and picture I.D are required*****

  

The Bridges Program will be held on July 11, 12, 13 from 8:00AM - 12:00PM at Mae Eanes Middle School. This is for all Mae Eanes incoming 6th graders and for the students that relocated to the Josephine Allen Housing.

Beginning August 15, 2011, all students are required to be in uniform according to the uniform policy. Please ensure that your child(ren) adhere to this policy as it will be strictly enforced and there are no exceptions to this policy.

All students must wear the following:

Pants

Khaki uniform pants only.( No shorts, skirts, skorts, or cargo pants will be allowed!!)

Pants must be kept at waistline with shirts tucked in at all times. Sagging pants will not be allowed.

Shirts

6th grade must wear light blue polo shirts

7th grade must wear navy blue polo shirts

8th grade must wear gold (dark yellow) polo shirts

Shoes

Solid black or white athletic shoes only!! Logos are not permitted.

Socks

Solid black or white over the ankle socks only!!

Tights

Solid navy or black only

Jackets

Solid navy blue jackets or sweatshirts only!! (No hoods, logos, or denim will be allowed!)

Belts

Solid black, navy, or brown belts only!! (Belts must be visible at all times)

Jewelry

Earrings shall not be larger than a quarter. Excessive jewelry will not be allowed. Male students are not permitted to wear earrings.

Make-Up

Excessive make up is not permitted.

Required Summer Reading Material

Directions: Please choose the book from your grade level to read and be prepared to test in class on August 22, 2011. There will also be a required 1st quarter writing assignment from the book that you read.
